Dirty Encoder Strip

Occasionally the encoder strip will get dirty and cause a tracking problem with the encoder sensor to the encoder strip.  The image will appear to skew or "leave" the media.  Simply clean encoder strip with a cotton swab saturated in isopropyl alcohol and apply to the top and bottom surfaces of the encoder strip. 

CAUTION:  Do not use Denatured alcohol as this will permanently damage the encoder strip surface.  Repeat cleaning of encoder strip surface 3-4 times until thoroughly clean of ink/media.
